The best time to fish is in the summer months when the lake waters are calm and the chill is not in the air. Then there are those anglers who are of the opinion that winter is the best time to fish when the lakes have frozen solid and the fish are just under the surface waiting to snap up any bait lowered into the water. Fishing is a water sport that most of America enjoys and looks forward to inventing ways of fishing just to extend the sport to a year round activity.

The Formula One world championship season has ended for the season, leaving many Brits a little disappointed. Everything was looking good for racing prodigy Lewis Hamilton, who at the tender age of 22 looked as though he had the world title in the bag.
However, things weren't to be; in the final race in Brazil, it all went wrong for Hamilton who suffered from mechanical problems with his car and finished 8th in the race, meaning he was just beaten to being crowned the youngest ever F1 champion.
Hamilton's team, McLaren, have stated that they may appeal against the stewards' decision not to penalise Williams and BMW Sauber for alleged fuel irregularities, but despite this meaning that Hamilton would then be crowned champion, he has publicly stated that he does not want to win the title under such circumstances. Unless, that is, you are from Tennessee and you still associate the Hall of Fame quarterback with that “other” UT school that drapes itself in bright orange. Michael Jordan may have studied and played ball at the University of North Carolina and had an awkward late stint with the Washington Wizards, but he always will be associated with Chicago. Try going ice fishing with the normal fishing equipment and you will understand the need for special accessories and equipment. Ice fishing accessories include equipment that assist the angler in the process of locating, catching, storing the catch and even keeping himself warm during the whole process.

So what’s with all the rhetoric and discussion on MMA being a violent sport? Have any of these detractors ever watched a football game? Ice Hockey? Rugby? Talk about violent sports! And these are all approved and sanctioned! Senator McCain and a lot of politicians are on the anti-MMA bandwagon, although sources close to Senator McCain have told me personally that he’s “coming around” and is willing to take a closer look at the sport. Well thank goodness for that, because what MMA was in 1995 is not what it is today.
