My best friend forever Megan, got married last year. Believe me, I tried to talk her out of it; Or I at least advised her to wait awhile longer before taking the plunge.
She was in love though, at least with the idea of marriage. Scott, her husband is also a long time friend of mine. In fact, I introduced the two.
After a three month world wind romance, they announced their engagement at a dinner party I was having, ironically, to deliver some good news of my own, but more on that later. Anyway, the short amount of time between the day they met and the day they became engaged, was not why I advised against the two tying the knot. It was the actual date of the wedding.
They were to be wed in just a few weeks and not one moment of their courtship ...

I'm sure we all know someone who sees themselves as a fountain of sports knowledge despite the fact that most of their opinions are unequivocally ludicrous – at least to us. They ramble on and on about nonsensical sports items to the point of making everyone around them nauseous. Perhaps leaving the room or investing in ear plugs would seem like viable options to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, showing such a discourteous side isn't in most people's moral code. A reasonable alternative could be to refer them to a "cookie cutter" sports website that features a message board or the ability to submit a written blog – which is fine and dandy.
