The debate continues to rage over Title IX. Many have called the passing of Title IX one of the greatest reversed discrimination laws in America, while advocates of Title IX continue to claim that it has leveled the playing field for collegiate sports. Title IX, simply put, is a law that requires universities to have the same number of women’s athletic sports as men’s athletic sports. This limitation also applies to college scholarships. For male programs that give out large numbers of scholarship, like football, there has to be an equal number of scholarships given out to women. If the school doesn’t give out the female scholarships, then they will lose the male sports scholarship. Opponents of Title IX see this as unfair. Statistically more men play sports than women. Sports therapy is a growing field offering a variety of services for injured athletes of all sorts--from the weekend warrior who overdid it to the highly trained serious athlete. Australian Rugby sure needs to take a good hard look at itself. The results over the last few years on the International arena have been poor to say the least.
In 2006 the formally mighty Wallabies produced dismal results against some of the world's lower ranked northern hemisphere teams.
The new coach John Connolly, who took over from ousted Australian coach Edie Jones, has managed to reproduce the same dismal results by doing more of the same.
It was clear to many a fanatical Wallabies supporter that every time they had thrown the game away and bought on the reserves such as Matt Rogers the team lifted and actually started scoring.
Why the coaching staff never picked up on this is beyond belief after all trying the same thing time and time again and expecting a different result is surly a form of insanity.

It was reported that Serie A champions Inter Milan is letting go coach Roberto Mancini and replacing him is Jose Mourinho, a former manager of Chelsea, but still for confirmation. The 43-year-old Mancini had a meeting with the club president Massimo Moratti and in spite of his three successive titles, he was told that he was no longer needed in the club.
Despite the three Serie A titles, Mancini was not able to make the Inter Milan feasible contenders. It would come as a big surprise if Mancini had been kicked out, as what his agent, Giorgio De Giorgis, said.
